Hi there,

Just wanted to know if there is any android app for this tagaini jisho application.
There are numerous apps out in android market, however your application is unique because it allows the user to break the most complex kanji into its most simple radical, which in turn makes us realise why a kanji has a particular meaning.

Thanks and regards,
Siddharth S

Hi,

Making an Android port of Tagaini has been in my mind for years.
Wouldn't it be great to have a mobile companion to the desktop app,
which would sync with it and allow to study on the go... Sadly it is
made a bit difficult by the fact I am using Qt on the desktop version
(although it is now much easier to port than it used to be), and the
fact that I have been quite busy with work for the last few years.
Time is the most contraining factor. It would be great to have more
contributors.

An Android version may also give us a chance to revisit Tagaini more
globally. This application has been first released in 2008 and it
starts showing, although as you mentioned some of its features are
still unique to it.

Cheers,
Alex.

Aedict3 has a Kanji Parts feature that breaks kanji into smaller parts. Screenshot:

Ah, nice... The price tag is too bad though, considering it relies
entirely on free resources... :(
