to Tag Folders
Hello, I want to consider such example.

Let's say I have to do some projects for clients - so I have tag
"todo"
And also to easier find files I tag them with "client1" "client2" etc.
I wanted to put client1 client2 tag "inside" todo tag to add this
automatically however....I have some todo project not related to any
client and those project should remain only "todo" tag and also i have
other files related to clients that not need to have "todo" tag.

So how to structure such tags?

Sorry for perhaps not precise explanation but this is situation when
one tag not always depends on another and for some cases it does so i
dont know how to solve that.
any suggestions.

Make three Tag Folders using the New Tag TF, entering the tags into the dialog box as follows:

1) todo
2) client1
3) todo client1

(Obviously, don't include the numbers, just the words.)

The first will create a TF that searches for "todo", the second for "client1", and the third for both "todo" and "client1".

Thanks..one more thing to clarify:
if I create todo client1 ad mentioned in 3) does it create one tag
"todo client1" or two separate tags "todo" and "client1".
Question is if I want to add to my files "todo" tag and "client1" tag
need I to drag and drop them first on todo and next to client1?

Handling tags in complex way in TagFolders is still a bit tricky to
me.

Regards
Sebastian

Each word entered into the dialog box will be a separate tag, unless you put quotes around phrases that are supposed to be multi-word tags. I've attached some images to make the difference clear. The first shows how to make two separate tags. Note that there are no quotation marks included in this one. The second shows how to make one multi-word tag. Note that this one does include quotation marks.

Oh, I missed your second question. If you drag a file onto the third Tag Folder, it will apply both the "todo" tag and the "client1" tag. Therefore, it will also appear in the first TF and the second one as well.

Thanks for reply.
I also noticed something strange.
I tagged once a folder "Mom" and i have also tag called Mom.
When I put two files into folder not into tag, a window appeared with
question : do you want to tag files ot once or one at time and then
another window with several tags to choose.
I don't know if this is intentional behaviour but it's look nice.

That's intentional. You can read about it in the User Guide, under the section for Tag Prompter.
