Error: Can't make POSIX path of <<class null>> into type Unicode text

Hello,
I am eager to try this program out, but I get the above error message
each time I create a new tag folder from the new tag.app. After naming
the new tag folder I am prompted to select the default folder in which
tag folders will be saved. Then I choose the Home folder, which I
created at the install, and get the error. It seems like it should not
be asking me to choose this folder every time I create a new tag
folder. Any help would be great as I am hopeful to use this
application. FOSS is the best!
