Tag Folders insists that OpenMeta is not installed in my system; yet it is

I've used Punakea for a while, so OpenMeta is indeed installed. I've
removed Tag Folders (as suggested) and reinstalled to no avail. THe
exact message I receive is:

"OpenMeta is not installed. Please reinstall Tag Folders to fix the
problem"

I'm a long time Mac user running 10.6.4 on a brand new machine. ANy
suggestions to righting this horrible wrong?

Thanks for the bug report! Let's see if we can get this worked out.

Please copy and paste the following commands into Terminal, and tell me what results you get from running each one:

mdimport -L 2>&1 | grep -i OpenMeta

mdimport -X 2>&1 | grep -i OpenMeta

mdimport -X 2>&1 | grep -i OMUserTags

Hm. It seems the Google Group file hosting is acting strangely. 

I've now uploaded a copy of the 2.6 beta to http://tagfolders.vndv.com/temp/Tag_Folders.2.6b1.dmg.zip. Please try downloading it from there instead.

How is the 2.6 beta working for you? I would like to release it soon, but I need to hear back from someone who was experiencing the problem before I can know whether it is resolved.
