Hi Web facilitators!
In case anyone has any flexible students (working at their own pace)… attached is something to help students manage their way through the qualification.
Feel free to edit to you liking if it’s useful.
Also, Peter Shanks and I have been working on the learning activities at http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Topic:Web_Design including intro activities under Build a basic webpage (http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Build_a_basic_web_page) for real beginners. For those students starting the course with some skills already, they might like to start at Build a small website (http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Build_a_small_website) or head right in for Javascript, PHP or XML challenges (http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Web_Design/JavaScript:JavaScript_Challenges, http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Web_Design/Dynamic_Websites/PHP_Challenges, and http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Web_Design/XML_Challenges respectively)
We’ve also just started working on HTML and CSS exam questions (at http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/HTML_exam_questions and http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/CSS_exam_questions respectively) which might be useful for in-class quiz show type games, or for students to check their understanding (or for more advanced students to add new questions).
Student outlines for each unit are also being developed at http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Cert_IV_Websites_Qualification_in_Australia. The icon next to each unit will show you how progressed the unit is.
