Our Story Started in 1981 when our founder opened a cart on Church Street in Burlington, Vermont and began selling Teddy Bears that he made in his garage. Over thirty-five years later, our Bears continue to be best friends, members of the family and beloved heirlooms. They are made with care from soft, premium materials and designed to give hugs that last a lifetime.
This year, we celebrated the 25th Anniversary of this award-winning program. And, we are thrilled to announce that we commemorated the milestone with our most successful collection to date. A whopping 1,912 teddy bears and stuffed animals were donated to charities in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio, California, and Washington DC.

I think I love my teddy bear more than I have ever loved any human. I once lost him - he was left behind in my bed at a hotel in Cleveland, but they found him in the laundry and mailed him back to me! Ever since then, when he travels somewhere with me, he sleeps in my luggage instead of with me in the bed, and in my apartment, he usually never leaves my bed anyway because that's where he lives.
I don't have many friends, and I've barely had any relationships, but my guy is just the sweetest. He's there for me every night, and I give him a kiss before I leave for work in the morning or whatever I'm doing to start my day. He doesn't judge me, or give me any grief, he is just patient and kind and comforting and I can't think of anyone else in the world I'd rather spend my life with. If I ever do meet someone who makes me feel the same way, it will be a miracle, but for now, I just love my teddy bear so much; he's the best little guy, I just look at the slightly bored expression on his worn-looking face, and I'm overwhelmed with feelings of love. I would post a picture, but he is not very photogenic and doesn't like having his picture taken. EDIT: found his twin (same manufacturer and everything) on eBay!
We used a very simple neutral color palette for the shower to go with the teddy bear theme: white, cream, tan, brown, and a few pops of rose gold and pink. The pink could easily be switched out to blue for a little boy.
My mom was in charge of food for the shower, and she ordered the most adorable desserts from a local bakery: cookies, cupcakes, cake pops and macarons in our teddy bear theme and colors. These cookies were by far my favorite!
Place the teddy bear sitting on the cake board and doily, and secure his leg, shoulder and hand to the balloon stick using a clear mini rubber band. You want it to look like he is holding the balloon strings, and the rubber bands will help keep him in place on the arrangement.

I really wanted to comment on how impressed I am with everything you did for the shower! I have never seen a balloon arch like this before, it is amazing. and your food table, OMG! I actually hope I get to host a party soon to try these ideas.
Do you know the name chosen for the baby? I am always looking for cute baby names. My sweet 3-year-old granddaughter is Winslow, I do not know how her mother came up with it, but we all love it. Please share what your sister is thinking of if you will.
