Myonly thought is possibly switching your Guest to Viewers? If you can provide more details on how exactly your Guest interact with your boards, maybe we can figure out a way for them to still communicate without costing you so much extra.

While you may have added your account before we began enforcing the rule, it was technically still in the requirements for a guest to need a different email domain, which is why that access was lost after we began to enforce it.

The ORNL Guest House is established for the sole purpose of providing lodging for ORNL User Facility clients, visiting researchers, and other UT-Battelle/ORNL visitors. The Guest House is not established to serve families (spouses and children). Only service animals will be allowed; no pets. The ORNL Guest House is not open to the public; however, groups visiting/touring ORNL will be allowed to stay at the Guest House with approved visitor badges.

If you are planning a visit to ORNL and would like to stay at the ORNL Guest House, your host will arrange for you to gain entrance onto the Laboratory campus. All visitors to the Laboratory must be approved in the Personnel Access System (PAS). You will be required to show a form of identification that is compliant with the REAL ID Act. Go here to see required ID.

IMPORTANT NOTICE OF CHANGE: Beginning April 1, 2023, all delivery drivers (taxi, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash etc.) must be US citizens or non-US citizens with a valid ORNL badge to enter the campus. Those not meeting this criterion will not be allowed through the security checkpoint. When calling for a taxi (at the airport or the Laboratory), other driver delivery service, or ordering a food delivery, please verify that the driver will be a U.S. citizen or has a valid ORNL badge to prevent delays or entry failures.

Visitors arriving a day early or after business hours, with an approved PAS request and an ORNL Guest House reservation, will be directed to the ORNL Guest House. They should report to the Visitor Center on the next business day for badging and building access. Until badged, visitor cannot go to other campus locations. Arrivals two or more days ahead of the PAS request date MUST be approved by the Visitor Center prior to arrival. NOTE: Guests who arrive earlier than 2:00 pm may be told they are not on the Guest House list. Ask the guard to call the Visitor Center to ask for list updates.

Visitors arriving after business hours with an approved PAS and ORNL Guest House reservations who will be working after business hours will be provided a placard with directions to the Laboratory Shift Superintendent (LSS) for badging and verification of the completion of Site Access Training (SAT) before proceeding to the Guest House or work site. Note: Taxis transporting visitors to ORNL will be permitted to travel to the LSS, if necessary. The Visitor Center and the Foreign National Office (FNO) must be notified if after hours badging is required to perform work.

To access the ORNL Guest House, you must have an approved Personnel Access System (PAS) request. Your name, as it appears in PAS and on your Entry Pass must match your valid ID and the name on your ORNL Guest House reservation. Do not use a nick name or a version of your name to make a reservation at the ORNL Guest House. If your reservation name does not match your PAS/Entry Pass name, you might not be allowed to enter the ORNL campus.

When making a reservation you SHOULD report the total number of guests, including name(s) and address(s) of additional guests staying in the room. Failure to do so, could result in the unavailability of a room with the appropriate number of beds. Enter this information in the Special Requirements field on the reservations page. Please Note: Maximum occupancy for rooms with two double beds is two people; rooms with a king bed, two people.

The Guest House is operated in a manner commensurate with the services and amenities found in local hotels that offer rooms at General Services Administration (GSA) per diem rates. The Guest House Operator will charge the current GSA rate (included appropriate taxes) unless otherwise directed by the Company.

If an issue needs to be addressed immediately, report your concern to the Guest House operating staff. Guest Satisfaction An online survey is available on the Guest House website. There is a link near the top of the Guest House website or click this link. QR codes to access the survey are located in two places: the front desk counter and on the wall at the entrance to the dining area. Paper surveys are no longer available.

Additionally coffee is available in the Lobby from 7 am- 3 pm; hot water (for tea and hot chocolate) is available 24 hours a day. Each guest room is equipped with a coffee maker for guests who want coffee outside of the Lobby availability hours.

With guest access, you can provide access to teams, documents in channels, resources, chats, and applications to people outside your organization, while maintaining control over your corporate data. Anyone with a business or consumer email account, such as Outlook, Gmail, or others, can participate as a guest in Teams. If you haven't set up guest access yet, go through the steps in the Collaborate with guests in a team.

When you invite a guest to Teams, a guest account is created for them in Microsoft Entra ID and they are covered by the same compliance and auditing protection as other Microsoft 365 users. With Microsoft Entra B2B collaboration, you can enforce conditional access and multifactor authentication (MFA) policies for B2B users. These policies can be enforced at the organization, app, or individual user level, the same way that they are enabled for people inside your organization. For more information, see Authentication and Conditional Access for External Identities. Guest access is subject to Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 service limits.

In Teams, guests are clearly identified. A guest's name includes the label (Guest), and a channel includes an icon to indicate that there are guests on the team. For more details, see What the guest experience is like.

Guests can leave the team at any time from within Teams. For details, see How do I leave a team?. (Leaving the team doesn't remove the guest account from your organization's directory. This must be done by a Microsoft Entra admin.)

Shared channels offer an alternative to guest access, allowing you to invite people outside your organization without requiring a guest account in Microsoft Entra ID. To compare guest access with shared channels, see Plan external collaboration.

Guests you have already added via Microsoft Entra B2B, Microsoft 365 Groups, or SharePoint are ready to go. Team owners can add those guests to their teams. If you add a guest directly to the Microsoft 365 group associated with a team, the guest will get access to the team but the Microsoft 365 group doesn't generate an invitation email to the guest, so someone on the team should notify the guest.

Guest access in Teams requires configuring other settings in Microsoft 365, including settings in Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Groups, and SharePoint. If you're ready to start inviting guests to teams, read one of the following:

Guest access can be used with all Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, and Microsoft 365 Education subscriptions. No additional Microsoft 365 license is necessary. The billing model for Microsoft Entra External ID applies to guests in Microsoft 365. Only people from outside your organization can be invited as guests.

To troubleshoot issues with inviting guests in Teams, administrators can run a diagnostic tool in the Microsoft 365 admin center to validate that guest access is correctly configured for use in Teams.

The test results tell you if the tenant is configured correctly for guest access. If the tenant isn't configured correctly, the diagnostic provides information on what steps to take to address issues with the configuration.

You can track guest additions in Microsoft Entra ID or the Microsoft 365 security center. Adding a guest in Teams is audited and logged as a Microsoft Entra group administration activity "Added member to group". For more details, see Auditing and reporting a B2B collaboration user and Search the audit log.

You can use Microsoft Entra ID to create an access review for users who are in groups or teams or have been assigned to an application. Creating recurring access reviews can save you time. If you need to routinely review users who have access to an application, a team, or a group, you can define the frequency of those reviews.

You can perform a guest access review yourself, ask guests to review their own access, or ask an application owner or business decision maker to perform the access review. Reviews are done in Microsoft Entra ID. For more information, see Manage guest access with Microsoft Entra access reviews.

People using Microsoft 365 Groups can use Outlook on the web or Outlook for Windows to add and manage guests in their Microsoft 365 groups. Guests can have any email address, and their email account can be a work, personal, or school account.

When a guest is invited to join a group, they receive a welcome email message that includes a little information about the group and what they can expect now that they're a member. The message also includes a set of links to help them get started and connect to group resources.
