Spinning & Dyeing Workshops

I have uploaded two fliers for two workshops that the Napa guild is
putting on. The first one is a weekend workshop (10/27 & 10/28) on
silk spinning with Celia Quinn. Along with tips on how to spin silk
we will as be dyeing silk hankies and reeling silk from cocoons.
Maia, Linda, and I all took classes with Celia last year and can
attest to her wonderful teaching abilities.
The second workshop features a local favorite, Nancy Roberts. She
will be bringing her knitting machines and dyes to show us how she
does her magic. The day will be split in two and so if you are only
interested in one part but not the other you can one or the other.
The prices are good. If you are interested in both workshops then it
would be cheaper to join the guild (only $22) and then you get a price
break on all the workshops we hold. Plus we have a good line up of
speakers coming to our Monday night meetings. Coming up in the spring
we will be having a workshop on weaving lace.
If you are interested in signing up be sure to do so soon because
there are not many spaces left. If you have any further questions
