Emergent Mindset
February 18, 2011

What's the first thing you should do in an emergency? Nothing, the
first step is to do absolutely nothing but to look around and to take
in the facts of what's actually happened. The Emergent Mindset's Ray
Clouout. It's what he does to keep Washington workers safe. Training
workers to get past the first few moments of an emergency. The
adrenaline rush kicks in, the mind switches to fight or flight mode
and
often times deadly mistakes are made in an emergency. Even a momentary
pause to think can save your life. Stop and think, analize the
situation of what's going on around you in an emergency. Survey your
resources of what you have and don't have at the moment. Make a plan
and act on that plan. People who develop a plan during an emergency
are the ones who often survive when others don't.
