2011 Spring Tacoma Youth Events

Hello, Tacoma and South Puget Sound Ultimate Enthusiasts!

DiscNW is hosting two great high school ultimate frisbee events in
Tacoma this spring:

1. The Green Games, Sunday March 13, at Charles Wright Academy.
This is a perfect tournament for brand new high school teams who have
never attended a torunament, or for intermediate teams looking for a
warm-up for the spring season. It is an "open" division, meaning that
girls and boys can play on a team but there is no strict on-field
gender ratio. We encourage coed play at this tournament if possible,
but it's not a requirement. The tournament fee is $115, and
registration closes in 9 days, on February 20. We already have five
great high school teams registered--two from Tacoma, one from
Portland, and two from Seattle. We hope you can join us! Sign up at

2. The Tacoma High School Spring League.
The league will take place on five Sundays from April 16 through May
21. We are still working out field reservations, but it will likely
take place again at Blix Elementary and will include drop-in play for
players who don't have an official team in the league. Registration

DiscNW also hosts other tournaments and leagues in the Seattle area,
including Spring Reign (the largest youth Ultimate tournament in the
world), coed and single-gender high school leagues, the USA Ultimate
Washington State Championship, and free clinics called MoHo. To learn
