Hello, Tacoma Youth Ultimate Enthusiasts!
DiscNW is trying something new this spring for youth Ultimate in
Tacoma. Please register and pass these opportunities on to your
network.
As usual, we will offer our Tacoma High School League, where school-
based high school teams can play against local opponents. Games are
Saturdays, beginning April 14, from 4-5:30pm at Stewart Heights
Playfield. We have one new registrant this year - Washington HS!
League fees are still TBD, but they will be somewhere between $0 and
$75, depending on how many teams register. Registration is due by
April 10. If your team cannot play every day of the league, please
register and indicate that in your registration; we can pro-rate your
league fee based on the number of games you play. You can register at

***NEW THIS YEAR***
On Saturdays starting April 14, in partnership with Metro Parks
Tacoma, we will offer a Tacoma Youth Learning League from 2-4pm at
Stewart Heights playfield. Players in grades 6-12 are eligible.
Players sign up as individuals and may register for one or multiple
league dates. Sessions are $6 each, and financial aid is available.
In the first hour of each session, players will learn rules, skills,
and strategies appropriate to their experience level. In the second
hour, players will apply their new knowledge in an Ultimate game
against other league participants. Players who participate in at
least two league sessions will be eligible to register for the June 2
Spring Jam tournament, where they will play with their league-mates
against other novice and intermediate teams from the Northwest.

If you would like a flyer to pass out to your network, please let me
know. Metro Parks Tacoma has prepared a lovely flyer which can be
used to advertise the new Tacoma Youth Learning League.
And remember to register for the High School Team league by April 10!
