Taiwanese American Cultural Festival - SF

Just a reminder that our re-designed Taiwanese American Cultural Festival is taking place this Saturday in the heart of Union Square! The festival starts at 10 am and lasts until 6:30 pm.

It looks like there will be a great 2nd generation turnout with over 100 of you RSVP'd on various webpages, listserves, Evites, and volunteer lists. We expect over 5000 people to walk through the festival!

In addition to the "Ten Drum" percussion group being brought in from Taiwan, we also have a great line-up of 2nd gen performers: Diana Li from LA, Jenton Lee from LA, and Young Lee's band Broadcaster from here in the Bay area! This is the flavor of Taiwanese America!

TaiwaneseAmerican.org's new exhibit "Highlighting the Taiwanese American Experience: A Second Generation in Progress" will debut at the festival! Be sure to stop by and check it out!

TaiwaneseAmerican.org and Taiwanese American Professionals-SF encourages you to gather in front of the 2nd generation "Taiwanese American History" booth around 12 noon, buy lunch at the food booths, and take the opportunity to network with others in the community! Meet up with old friends, and make new ones! We'll try to facilitate something!
