I use FolderSync to backup the DCIM photo folder on my phone but have noticed a problem. When I take a photo from withing the Google Hangouts application the file name has ':nopm:' added before the file extenstion (IMG_20140909_155350:nopm:.jpg). This causes an error when FolderSync attempts to copy this file. If I remove the ':nopm:' from the filename then everything syncs just fine. I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done about this, but I thought I should bring it up.

You could use QuickPic to quickly rename the files. It's a great alternative to Gallery.

I already have a Tasker routine that renames the files, but I thought it was worth bringing up here since I'm probably not the only user out there running into this problem.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll look into QuickPic.

Would you mind sharing the tasker profile to renames the files?
