Very slow WebDAV sync

I use a Synology Server, a Samsung Galaxy S2 and a Note 2 with the paid version of FolderSync.

On both devices WebDAV (via https) sync is very slow. I need half an hour to sync 200KB. All devices are in the same network.

If I use SMB to sync, speed is ok at 100KB/s.

Any suggestions why it's that slow?

I use a Synology for testing WebDAV over https and i get speeds of over 1 MB/s over https using my own Wifi using a Galaxy Nexus which is very similar to the S2. 
SMB should also be a lot faster than you experience. I guess you might have a network problem.
