Hi,

First of all thanks for this little but so usefull app.

I'm using it to schedule sync every night new photos/videos taken with
my phone to a folder in my HTPC. I was using it in my HTC Desire (with
Gigerbread HTC Sense 3.5 ROM) with no problems. Now I've received my
new HTC One S (with Ice Cream Sandwich HTC Sense 4), I've replicated
same config, but it's not working. If I trigger sync manually, it's
working flawlessly... but if I let auto sync do its job (every night
at 2:00 AM), it always fails with the same error message: "id154 Se
produjo un error durante la sincronización: Remote folder not found:"
followed by correct remote folder path. Also no problem accessing this
remote folder using FolderSync internal File Manager.

Any idea what's happening? What could I do to narrow down the problem?

Thanks a lot.

Just for you information, I don't use any kind of battery saving software that could be interfering with the normal operation or wifi connectivity.

Thanks again.

Well, its probably because there is no connection established when waking from sleep. If you are using wifi foldersync tries for 30 seconds to wait for a wifi connection to boot up - if it takes longer, I guess that could probably result the error you get.

I'll try to narrow down if wifi is actually disconnecting during sleep... As I've got a dhcp server in my LAN, I can actually see any new connection done.

Can you confirm that FolderSync Lite is working under ICS ¿?

I works for me on ICS.

Could you be so kind to tell me what phone/tablet are you testing with ICS? If I'm not wrong, wifi policy changes between brands and ICS (stock) ROMs...

Right now I have a Transformer TF101 with latest ICS version released and a Galaxy Nexus with 4.0.3.

Really? Then we've got very similar config. I own a TF101too, and a
HTC One S, both with ICS 4.0.3..

Tonight I'll try redoing the smb account... If that doesn't work, then
I'll try same config with TF101.
TF.101

Bye!

Ok. It's fixed. It seems that something went wrong while restoring from a backup done in my old Desire... I reinstalled app and configured account and event from scratch, and it did its job right this night. :)

bye!
