Hi,

I did the following:
Setup a folder pair dropbox <-> local DCIM/Camera folder.
Configured to sync two-way, no schedule, always overwrite old files,
skip if conflicting modification, include subfolders, dont sync hidden
files, dont delete from source after one-way sync, dont preserve
files.
Started the sync -> Foldersync uploaded all photos including the cache
folder.
Deleted some files in the dropbox web frontend.
Started the syns -> Foldersync did NOT delete any of the files on my
phone which I deleted in the dropbox folder before.

Did I not configure the app correctly? Is it a bug? Is the local
deletion a feature which is only supported in the full version of
foldersync?
I planned to buy the full version anyway, but I first wanted to make
sure that everything works for me. ;-)

BTW: I'm using a Galaxy S2 running the Android 2.3.5 stock rom with Siyah Kernel 2.6.14.

I just found the option to enable logging in the app and played around a bit.
It seems to me that deleting the files works well, but automatically starting the media scanner does not work.
Strangely, also after a reboot, the files were still in the gallery. Only after triggering the media scanner with the "Rescan Media" app, the deleted files were also gone from the gallery.

There is a bug, hopefully already fixed for the next release, that means sometimes deleted files are not "mediascanned" - yes, it is possible to media scan a deleted file apparently. :-)

I am having the same issue when syncing with SugarSync.  Media scan option for the sync job did not work. Neither did the media scan option in the File Manager.  As the previous post suggested, I was able to use the Rescan Media app to resolve it instantly.  Even when a reboot wouldn't!

I see in the changelog that a fix was applied so I am not sure if the issue resurfaced.  Let me know if you need any additional information from me.  It took me some time to find the app that worked best for syncing and this is the last little thing I need to work.  I love this app! Please fix :)
