You are invited to the opening party of FAB studio 424 on Sunday, April 7th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. We will have Kreisler, Gershwin, Kosma, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Kevser Hanim�ｿｽ." petits fours" and friendship. For the "petits fours" we will meet in studio 825 �ｿｽ Piano Forte Chicago and UFEC will join us.

Ephesus: Ancient Metropolis, Modern Excavation Enterprise, Tourist Attraction
Sabine Ladst�ｿｽtter is director of the Austrian Archaeological Institute and is excavation director at Ephesus in Turkey. She holds degrees from the University of Vienna, Austria and the Karl-Franzens-Universit�ｿｽt (University of Graz), Austria. Her areas of specialization are Roman archaeology, landscape archaeology, pottery, and archaeological method. Recently Dr. Ladst�ｿｽtter was named Austrian Scientist of the Year 2011 by the Association of Austrian Science Journalists for her outstanding research and her ability to communicate science to a broader public.

TACA's Adult Turkish Classes are designed for diverse group of professionals who seek to learn Turkish for various reasons. Among our students we have graduate students, professors, artists, entrepreneurs, language lovers, or simply travelers.
The classes are mostly held at the TACA building (3845 N. Harlem Ave), which is a short drive from downtown or can be accessed from Blue Line Harlem stop.

THE CONVERSATION GROUP PROGRAM
This program is designed to bring people together, who already know conversational Turkish and want to practice their speaking skills and keep building vocabulary. The meeting ambiance is relatively casual. It takes place at an assigned venue downtown and participants' are welcome to suggest a location to meet.

International Children's Day Chicago
Turkish American Cultural Alliance (TACA) has been bringing International Children's Day to Chicago in the same spirit, to share the Children's Day joy with children of all backgrounds so that they all learn to appreciate different cultures and get to experience a joyous event with others, showcase their talents, make new friends.
We are getting in touch with children and parents from various countries around the world who plan to participate. Children will parade dressed in their traditional costumes and will briefly perform for the audience. Each country represented will have the opportunity to display national flags and share information. We will provide a baby corner for your little loved ones comfort. We had very successful events in the past. This year, it will be the 12th year of this event. We had 300 to 400 participants from seven to fifteen different countries over the years.
TACA 12th Children's Day celebration will be held on April 21st, 2013 at Owen Elementary School in Naperville, IL. We would love to see you join us. Please let us know if you would like to perform or if you would like to set up an informational booth.
