Successful Restore until end 2013

Hi.

First of all, thanks for making this extension, it's really helped bring order to the chaos of tabbed internet browsing.

I recently had a problem where Windows 7 decided to remove itself from the boot menu, so I had to restore it to factory settings, but I was still able to get the data from the harddisk and back it all up.

I followed the instructions on how to restore past trees and it worked successfully until the end of December 2013. Any tree that was saved from the beginning of 2014 was not restored.

I was wondering if 2014 trees were stored separately from the 2013 trees, and if so, where? Is there a way of getting those back?

No, the trees is stored all in a same place. Not sure what instructions you follow, but it's looks like that the only way for you to restore your data is from some fresh 2014 backup, wich is contain the correct state of the Chrome profile.

I can restore the tree for you if you will send me the content of the File System folder from your working Chrome profile (from backup, wich is was created when the system is working properly)

You can find a path to your Chrome profile from this link:

chrome://version/

For future, please save your tree from time to time in HTML file (expand all nodes then do a Ctrl-S, "save as complete HTML").
I hope i soon will release also an automatic backup to the cloud on a google drive to solve all such incidents during hdd or system fails  once and for all.
