IE Compatibility?

Works beautifully in Firefox (3.6.15) - not so much in IE8.

1) Edit rows appears.
2) Add new row appears at bottom of main table.
3) Field table data appears adjacent to the editable fields
(vertically stacked for text fields, horizontal for selects).
4) Update buttons appear - no clicking the data to enable edit).
5) No sorting by clicking the headers.

Also, the version I downloaded was 1.6.1, but I had to change some
references in the files from 1.6 to get it off the ground.
