Role: SAP Sales & Distribution Consultant

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong Data Migration exposure to support SAP ECC / S/4HANA implementation and transformation projects. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, SD configuration, integration, and legacy data migration activities.

The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and migration leads to ensure accurate and timely migration of SD data from legacy systems into SAP.


Key Responsibilities:

SD Functional
· Gather and analyze business requirements as well as design & implement key OTC processes including Sales Orders, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, Credit Management.
· Configure SAP SD components such as: Sales Document Types, Item Categories, Schedule Lines, Pricing Procedures, Condition Types, Access Sequences, Copy Controls and Output Determination
· Coordinate with other SAP functional modules like MM, FICO, PP, WM etc. for seamless integration.
· Support UAT, defect resolution, go-live and post-go-live support.
SD Data Migration
· Lead and support SD data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP ECC / S/4HANA.
· Identify and validate SD-related master and transactional data, including: Customer Master, Material Sales Views, Pricing Conditions, Open Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing Documents

Requirements:
· Minimum 8-10 years of experience and at least 2 SAP SD full life cycle implementation experience in SAP ECC including experience with data migration.
· Experience with data migration tools and methodologies, like LSMW and other tools
· Familiarity with ABAP for custom extraction or transformation scripts.
· Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and progress.
· Involvement in process improvements, system enhancements, and general problem solving to improve customer experience and team effectiveness

Project-Specific Requirements:
· Ability to identify the required fields, tables, and relationships in SAP for SD data migration.
· Prepare and execute data migration strategies for the transfer of SD data to SAP.
· Develop detailed mapping of SD-related data between legacy systems and SAP and define transformation rules for moving data, ensuring that configurations are properly mapped.
· Well versed with Implementation onsite-offshore delivery models.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
· Prepare data mapping documents defining: Source-to-target field mapping, Transformation and validation rules, Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
· Execute migration cycles (mock loads, trial runs, cutover loads).
· Support data migration using tools such as:
· LSMW / BDC / IDOCs (ECC) - Work closely with technical teams to resolve migration errors and inconsistencies
