to Tabfair Testers
Hey everyone,

I’m an indie developer finishing up Tabfair, a lightweight Android app for splitting restaurant tabs (checks, bills) fairly, quickly, and hopefully fairly quickly.

I’m currently in Google Play closed testing and need a small group of testers to use the app naturally and share honest feedback.

### What Tabfair does

* Split bills evenly in seconds
* Add tax and tip clearly
* Smart rounding (no awkward cents)
* Share a clean breakdown with friends [possible future enhancement to work with cash apps, but that's down the line]
* No ads, no accounts, no tracking

### What I’m looking for

* Install the app via Google Play
* Use it normally (even once or twice helps)
* Report bugs, confusing moments, or “this should work differently” thoughts

This is about usability, not stress testing, or trying to build out a finance app.

### Important note (transparency)

This is not a free Pro giveaway.
The goal of this test is to validate the core experience before public release.
If you end up liking the app, great, but no pressure either way.

### How to join

1. Join the Google Group (required by Play):
   tabfair...@googlegroups.com (https://groups.google.com/u/1/g/tabfair-testers)
2. After joining, use the Play Store install link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tabfair.app
3. Install → use → share feedback

### Why I’m posting here

I’d much rather get feedback from real people than fake installs.

The background on this app is that i am brand new to coding and app dev, I've always just been on the sidelines.   I wanted something straightforward with a few complexities to challenge myself. No ads, and while there is a $.99 one time Pro unlock, it's a fully functional app for free.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance if you help out.

Happy to answer questions in the comments.
