Region C Meeting on December 1st

Hello wonderful Region C folks!
We hope you are all doing well and getting bundled up as the weather gets cooler! We want to let everyone know that everything is all set up for our meeting on December 1st at the Grayson Crisis Center in Sherman, TX. This will be a day of much deserved self-care for all of us after a very busy year!
The morning will consist of announcements and updates from Region C and TAASA, as well as discussions of tools for self-care in our everyday work. Monica Urbaniak will be providing an interactive presentation on self-care! Just the thing for any anyone in the field to get through some of those tough days in the crisis world. For those who are interested, a marvelous team of therapists from The Turning Point in Plano, TX will be providing a group EMDR session in the afternoon from 1pm- 2:30pm. EMDR is a therapeutic method that is quickly on the rise, with more and more trauma fields taking it on. The group session will be a way for each attendee to process any stress and secondary trauma through individual and group activities. If you have any questions about this group session or any of the other activities, please feel free to let us know!
