Region C December Meeting- You Can Still RSVP!

Hello everyone!

 

I hope this email finds everyone well rested after last week’s holidays! This is just a short little reminder to reserve your spot for the Region C meeting happening this Friday, December 1^st. It will be a day for self-care and networking at the Grayson Crisis Center in Sherman, TX. We will meet from 10:30am- 2:30pm with workshops from Monica Urbaniak, Kelley McCoy, and Anna Zapata.

Here is a quick overview of what to expect:

 

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Monica Urbaniak will speak on Self-care and provide an interactive workshop

 

After lunch Kelley McCory and Anna Zapata will lead an EMDR Group Session

 

Workshop description:

EMDR Integrative Group Treatment Protocol (EMDR-IGTP) administers the eight phases of EMDR individual treatment to a group using an art therapy format and a self-administered bilateral stimulation method known as the butterfly hug.  We will ask participants to pick one mild stressor that they would like to work on for the

group. Our intent is for this to be helpful but not overwhelming!
