All, I don't know if you'll remember the game we played with community owned water supply (COWSO) representatives in Iringa district to train them up on Taarifa, but there's a blog entry about it here:
https://taarifa.wordpress.com/2014/06/05/updates-from-the-field-taarifa-in-iringa-district/ and the video overview is here:

I'll be headed to Nairobi towards the end of April to attend CBA-9 (conference on Community-Based Adaptations to Climate Change). Through connections with Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, I've been asked to design a similar game for attendees to see the impacts of community reporting on workflows. I'd very much like to demonstrate a working demo of Taarifa at a .ke phone number.
1) This should only be attempted if it can be done as well as the HDIF grant -- that serves actual people, not people in ties at a conference. Who are not real.
2) I would be using the opportunity to learn how to set up a Taarifa instance myself, meaning
3) I'd be focused on documentation clarification and gap-filling. However!
4) I'd still need hand-holding through the process.
First-blush ideas on if this is The Best Idea or, simply, The Worst?
