Hi friends,
We’re excited to invite you to a family-friendly ride along the Bronx River Greenway! This fun 6-mile ride is perfect for all ages and will highlight one of the Bronx’s most beautiful bike paths.
📍 Meet-up: 9:30 AM at Bronx Blvd & 233rd St
⏰ Wheels down: 10:00 AM
🏁 Finish: Concrete Plant Park
Our pace will be a relaxed 7–9 mph—great for families and kiddos. Most of the route is on the safe, protected Greenway. When crossing Tremont Ave and 177th St, we’ll dismount and cross on foot.
🎉 We’ll end at Concrete Plant Park, where the Bronx River Alliance is hosting a Community Banquet with free paddling, activities, and plenty of fun!
💧 Thanks to REI, participants will also receive a free water bottle (while supplies last).
⚠️ Please remember:
Ride at your own risk
Bring your own bike + helmet
Do an ABC check the night before and morning of:
A = Air (check your tires)
B = Brakes (make sure they work!)
C = Crank & Chain (make sure everything moves smoothly)
We’d love for you to share this invitation with your networks, community groups, and riding buddies so we can spread the joy and bring even more Bronx neighbors together.
Let’s ride, celebrate, and enjoy the river together! 🌊💚
