There are a few things coming up on the radar I wanted to let you know about. 

Upcoming Activist Meeting

Our upcoming Activist Meeting is on June 17th at the BxArts Factory. It will follow the Highbridge Pride Ball. We will have food and talk all things safe streets. 

Community Events 

• Community Paint Day on Depot Place, paint barriers for the bike lane to the Harlem River Greenway (on the Bronx Side). June 7th, 12-4pm. 
• Also on June 7th ride the Big Boro Bike Ride. Meeting at Macombs Dam Park at 9:30am. 
• It's about Queens, but seems fun! June 9th Close Encounters of the 34th Avenue Kind film by Clarence Eckerson
• On June 17th Highbridge Pride Ball followed by our activist meeting

Volunteers Needed

•  Our Youth Activist Committee is hosting a Rally + Ride for the Wheel Deal legislative package next Saturday, June 13 and they are looking for folks to volunteer as marshals for the ride from Grand Army Plaza to City Hall Park from 11am-noon! If you are interested and available please RSVP for the event and reach out to Youth & Schools Organizer Lauren at lauren...@transalt.org by Monday, June 8.
  
• Summer is coming😎🌞. Here is a short volunteer info session to see how you can plug into general TA volunteer events. This is ideal for people who are new to TA or haven't volunteered in a while. June 8th, 6pm, virtual.
