Wednesday 11/20: Monthly activist committee meeting
Date: Wednesday, November 20th
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm
Location: Harlem YMCA, 180 W 135th St
Discussion topics: Hochul's reversal on congestion pricing, Central Harlem Bikeway campaign, Holiday lights ride on 12/21, and more!
Bring a friend, especially anyone who lives in Harlem/is interested in getting a protected bike lane on Adam Clayton Powell Blvd from Central Park to the Bronx!
(Reminder: Our monthly meeting is on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and we alternate between meeting at the Harlem YMCA and the Bronx Museum of the Arts. Anyone who lives in the Bronx or Uptown Manhattan is welcome at our meetings, regardless of the meeting location!)
Sunday 11/17: World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is a day to honor those lost and seriously injured in traffic violence, support the families affected by these tragedies, and demand change to prevent future crashes. Join us on Sunday, November 17 at 12:30pm at the Queens Botanical Garden in Flushing, where we will uplift the stories and work of those who have been devastated by crashes and make space for those affected to honor the lives of those devastated by this epidemic.
