Role: Oracle Financials Developer

Project Description:
Jamaica Oracle Financials Implementation/Support Backfill
Technical Experience/Skills Required
Experience with Financial Modules among AR, AP, GL, FA, SLA, FAH, XTR, CE
- in an Implementation/upgrade and/or Production Support capacity. 5 years of experience or more. Senior Level. Solution design, requirements gathering , configuration, testing and documentation. Proficient in OUM methodology.
Non-Technical Skills Required
Good Verbal and written communication skills. Team Player, Support-Oriented, Ability to work with Business Partners to define and implement Solutions.
Technical Experience/Skills Preferred
Implementation Experience is a required. Experience implementing Oracle Financials in Jamaica is a plus. Experience on global implementations is preferred. Oracle Localization experience is preferred.
Role: Java Developer(Progress Developer)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Duration: 15 Months+
Position Responsibilities:
The Senior Analyst/Developer will layout, document, develop
and maintain applications to support Stores Point of Sale.
Individual will work with external vendors to evaluate hardware and software
need in stores. Will need to understand how these products can be integrated
within the stores infrastructure.
Prepare functional specifications for a given task. Develop and test
applications. Work with business users to determine if application meets
business requirements.
Develop implementation plan to initiate applications in field.
Ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise.
Experience Required:
5 - 7 yrs. Experience in programming (Progress Developer)
Fundamental understanding of relational databases and Linux operating system.
Preferred: Progress 4GL RDBMS, Java, JBOSS, Web development, Linux/Unix
experience, shell scripting, SUN Solaris.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or equivalent experience.
Additional Comments:
Good Oral and written communication skills.
Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work with other groups to understand and develop applications
critical to store operations.
