Google Group and Discussions on T3 site? Why both?

Just to get some clarification here... will the T3v3 Google group remain active now that a discussion forum has been added to the T3 main site?

I can understand having 2 communication channels if there is a need for developers and consumers, however T3 is a free resource and should not be expected to provide premium support for free. So I'm a bit confused as to why there are 2 channels for support/discussion (Actually 3 if you count Hung's forum.). Just seems like double the work and double the postings back and forth.

Can someone higher up the food chain share your thoughts on this please? (Hung or Anthony, I'm specifically asking you guys. :)

Hi Robert Vining  !

I think, now, will be the main forum for discussion on the website T3v3. Google group was created to discuss until the creation of the main forum. All questions and problems T3v3 best set in our main site.

P.S. We are also able to answer your questions in T3v3 Google group.
