1.1.0 RC1 is released to day ! Available at Github only https://github.com/t3framework/t3/tags

This version is released without the traditional QuickStart package (Joomla core + Plugin + template + sample  DB) and recommended for developers only, if you are a Joomla newbies, this version is not for you.

This is a major update comparing to the 1.0.3 at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=460

Because we change the name of the plugin & default Blank template, upgrade from the standard upgrade process is not possible.
You need to uninstall & reinstall everything like a New Install process as below:

New Install:

After download at https://github.com/t3framework/t3/tags

1. Unzip the t3-1.1.0-rc1.zip file, you will find the plugin (plg_system_t3) & default template (tpl_t3_blank) folder in the SOURCE
2. Zip folder plg_system_t3  to plg_system_t3.zip >> install as a standard Joomla plugin
3. Zip folder tpl_t3_blank  to tpl_t3_blank.zip >> install as a standard Joomla template
The 1-click installation package will be available in stable version.

The previous Quickstart repo at https://github.com/t3framework/t3v3 has been set to PRIVATE to remove confusion for new people who want to download the latest builds of T3

Is it a good idea to bring T3 to WP? I think we need to do thing in WP way for T3.
As of now, T3 is very Joomla!

Hi All!

Hey Hung,

I'm a website developer/designer and have been using T3v2 for about 1.5 years.  It's the best thing I've found since Joomla for creating sites for my clients.

I get a LOT of requests for WordPress.  Even though I personally prefer Joomla and most of the time the client doesn't care because they only use the term WordPress because it's the one they have heard of - they typically don't care as long as they can update the site themselves and it's "easy".  Alos, we invariably find that Joomla provides more depth and flexibility to create the sites with the features our clients like.

However, there have been a number of cases where it was either WordPress or they might just go elsewhere.  I'd love the option of using a framework I already know fairly well to get the design down and "coded" so as to concentrate on getting the site working the way that the client wants.

Are there any chances that a WordPress version of T3 may come about?
