Macedonia Community Meal

Each month, Macedonia Lutheran Church sponsors a community meal.  The meal each month is sponsored by one of the groups at Macedonia.  Troop 39 and Pack 39 are responsible for April's meal.  We can use scout, parent, and leader support with this one.  All of our older scouts will be returning from Conclave that morning, so we will need the help of our younger scouts.

The meal happens this Sunday, April 19th.  We need help at 9:30 AM to assist with setting up the room and preparing the meal (grilling hamburgers and hotdogs).  This task would be appropriate for adults, leaders, and older scouts.  We also need help to serve the meal.  This is where our younger scouts can assist.  We need the servers to arrive at 11:00 AM with the actual meal being served between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM.

We will finish the clean-up somewhere between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM.  If you can't stay the whole time, that's fine and we appreciate the time you can volunteer.  Just let us know the times when you are available to help.  If we all work together, we can accomplish this great service to the community.

Thanks everyone in advance for volunteering your time to assist with this very important service provided by Macedonia.  Scouts participating will earn service hours towards their rank advancement.

This is a reminder of our service opportunity to help with Macedonia's community meal tomorrow, April 19th (Sunday).  See the additional information below:

The following Scouts/Scouters have indicated they will be helping:  Hunter Hanson, Landon Hawk, Asher LaPlante, Tobias Raymond (9:30 to 10:15), Porter Smith, George Hill, Ryan Mervin, and Loryn Payne.

Please wear your activity uniform (Class B) for setup, cooking, and clean-up.  Please bring your field uniform shirt (Class A) to assist with serving.

We will meet at 9:30 AM at the Scout Hut.  Other details and information are below.
