Merit Badge & Activity Enrollment Tomorrow Night

This email is for the scouts who have registered to attend Cherokee Scout Reservation with Troop 39 this summer.  Please see the information below for enrolling your scout in the merit badges and activities he will be taking at summer camp this year.

• You and your scout are responsible for enrolling him in the merit badges he will take at summer camp.  This will be done through the parent portal that you used to make your payment.  Attached is a PDF with instructions for using the Parent Portal to enroll your Scout in the various classes.  You will start with Step 1C (Using the Parent Portal).
• During our troop meeting on March 23rd, we worked with your scout to create a schedule for summer camp.  They brought this packet of information home with them for you to use for the registration process.  If you did not get the proposed schedule, ask your scout for it.  If they lost it, let me know.  I took a picture of each schedule after I approved it.
• The merit badge enrollment tool will be activated at 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 4th (tomorrow night).  I strongly suggest that you go online and enroll your scout at 8:00 PM Saturday night to ensure they get the merit badges they want to take.  Some merit badges/activities have limited spots and some are very popular and fill up fast.  For example, some families waited until Sunday morning to select merit badges/activities last year and were locked out of some of the items they wanted.
