Troop Program Notes

  1.  This is a reminder that the troop will not meet tomorow Monday, January 19th, because of the ABSS holiday.  Our next meeting will be Monday, January 26th and will be our Court of Honor/Family Night. 

2.  We are currently working on Citizenship in the Community merit badge.  One of the requirements is to attend a city council meeting.  The troop plans to attend the Burlington City Council meeting scheduled for this Tuesday, January 20th.  Scouts need to wear their field (Class A) uniform and arrive at the Burlington municipal building (425 South Lexington Avenue) between 6:30 PM and 6:40 PM this Tuesday.  Please meet in the lobby outside the city council chambers during this time.  You will need to bring paper/notebook and a pen/pencil to take notes during the meeting.  We will leave the meeting around 8:30 PM if the meeting is still going on.  If it ends earlier, we will call parents to pick up their scout.
