Hello Troop 2,
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed spring break. This past Thursday thru Sunday, we had a group head down to St. Louis, MO for our Spring Invitational campout. I saw a couple of pictures of our scouts having fun, so I’m excited to talk to them at tonight's meeting to get the full details and hopefully see a few more photos.
Tonight’s meeting will of course be at St. John’s from 7pm-8:30pm. Please make every effort to be at the meeting on or before 7pm, it is difficult to start the meeting when people trickle in. The scouts will try and wrap up their First Aid merit badge and possibly Plumbing merit badge. Of course, any scouts wanting a Scoutmaster Conference or Board of Review will need to be in full Class-A uniform along with merit badge sash. We’ll talk more about summer camp tonight and get a headcount of who is planning on attending and what merit badges the scouts would like to sign up for.
Don’t forget Hanging Basket Flower Sales are going on right now too. This is a great opportunity to build up the ‘Scout Accounts’ before summer camp. All payments are due April 18th, and flowers will be delivered May 7th just in time for mother's day.
