Dear All,

We are looking for various options to implement Internet Banking where it is an external system and not ARC-IB or TIB.
Any documents (BRD,FS,TS...) on the same which has been implemented or proposed will help to us know the various options we have in T24
to integrate with external IB System.

Thanks in advance,
Anureka Rajesh

Dear Anu,

I know quite a few banks build their own IB application and integrate with T24 . Communication method to T24  would be OFS and the web application sitting on web server would be able to build and parse ofs string from the response. It could be either query request (for balance or transaction display) or update request like FT for payments requested online. In T24 you should have IB module installed with IB.USER holding the web user details saying which user have access to what accounts, customers etc. The main challenge would be session handling and make sure correct response from a particluar connection is channelled to correct web session when more than one concurrent users are accessing. I did work on a internet banking proj 8 years back and those days temenos had a Temenos connector managing the connections between web applications and globus. I believe the current TCS would be able to do the same job and it would sit between web server and T24.

Don't have any documetation on it. But hopefully this mail should give a picture how it might work (just ignore if u already knw)

Regards,
Anand

Yes Anu, the robust way to have a communication between T24 & external
system is to use TC pack.

Latest build of TC pack is very reliable and has many bugs fixed. I
dont have any specs in specific to share with you...

TC can be well made to communicate with MQ queues and can be used
along with a TTG (Temenos Transport Gateway) pack. Using a TTG pack is
easier and main configuration would be on the MQ queues. There are
tools that comes handy for monitoring MQ queues and are very much used
for interface communication.

Banks like SCB, BM are also using TTG pack along with TC.

Revert for any specific details...

Hi

I meant Standard Chartered Bank as SCB. :)

Certain sites of SCB use TTG pack.
