I wanted to make you all aware of a new offer from Medtronic.  Many people have heard that Medtronic has some new technology coming out soon and are holding off getting new pumps.  The new offer is a guarantee that anyone who purchases a new or upgraded pump with CGM between 11/30 and 12/31/2012 will be eligible for a free upgrade when the new technology is FDA approved.  This is a great offer for people who have met their insurance deductibles at this time of the year and will need to start all over again in January. Also great for people who need to use up their flex spending accounts as well.   I am attaching the flyer that explains the offer.

Kindly,
Linda Fainman RN, CDE

Hi Linda,

I was wondering if you knew what I could do with my insulin pump that I no longer use. Does Medtronic buy back insulin pumps? Just wondering what I could do with it.  Thanks, Pauline Scher

I've appreciated having my old pump on hand in case I have problems w/ the new one.  I've used it several times over 3 years.  Marge Stromberg
