Palo Duro Canyon would be about as far as Big Bend and would be a good place. Does anyone know if you can camp in Balcones Canyonlands?

No camping in Balcones Canyonlands. Decent day hikes that go up and down the hills though.

Not much elevation change I suspect, but could get some miles at the Sam Houston Nat. Forest.
