Summer Sessions are starting at the practice field from now on, so don't report to the stadium.

After stretches and before 1 on 1 time on Tuesday the entire trumpet section is going to watch an on the line demonstration, and our own Billy 'Pinata' Menges has volunteered to be T-Row's contender.  The reasoning behind this is that it will increase overall drive by showing the candidates what they should be striving for.  I-Row did this last week and Jacob Lowe said that he noticed excitement coming from the candidates when they saw what would be expected of them.  The improvement of the candidates has been progressing very well, but the one thing we are lacking so far is drive so let's see if we can get some inspiration going this week.

I'm sure all of you that were at Summer Sessions on Thursday noticed the death march tempo that we're taking Sloopy at.  Just a point of information, this is not the fault of the student music leaders.  Both of the Jons said to take it no faster than 120 bpm, but were going to start slowly increasing the tempo by a couple clicks every night to try and get away from it.  Once we get to the season it won't matter because Dr. Woods will just point at Jacob for drum taps anyway...so DON'T WORRY!

That is the T-Row trip up to good ole Austintown, Ohio. I envision us leaving Cbus around 6 or 7 pm Friday Night and then returning to the 614 before dinner time on Sunday. There will be swimming, bonfiring, cornholing, bonding timing, merriment making, bullet dodging, gang fighting and of course drinking....don't be the one to miss out!
