I don't know if it was the elimination of 1-1 time last night or what but the candidates have vastly improved since last Thursday. Their drive was better, their precision and fundamentals were better, and it really looked like they all wanted to be there.

I want to thank the rookies for being especially dedicated to Summer Sessions this year. I know we all have shit going on, but you guys have really stepped it up and have been invaluable in getting the candidates to where they are now...you pieces of shit.

We'll talk about filming the F-Night video Thursday after practice, so if you want input you should probably be at Summer Sessions and make yourself available these next two weekends.

Try and have some APPROPRIATE band stories you can share with the candidates on Thursday or over these next couple weeks. I remember Oliver and Chap telling stories my rookie year and it got me excited for tryouts. (nothing involving alcohol, nights that begin with F, or closely guarded secrets of the row or the band)
