Dear Concerned Netizen
ICANN'S $50,000.00 QUESTION
http://reclaimthe.net/icann/scam
Please Circulate Widely!
Is the ICANN TLD Application Fee a Scam?
ICANN is soliciting applications for new Generic
Top Level Domains (gTLDs) and requiring a fee of
$50,000.00, non-refundable.
In light of the fact that ICANN is dominated by
large corporations such as IBM, MCI, AOL, ATT,
and various intellectual property interests who
are opposed to new gTLDs, what will happen when
ICANN chooses only 1 or 2 TLDs out of hundreds
or thousands of applications? What will happen
if 98 out of 100 applicants who pay ICANN $50K
only to lose their money and end up with no TLDs?
