I have a Intel Pentium II 233 processor on an ATX Motherboard. A 6.4 Gig
harddrive which I wish to use for Linux on my primary ide controller and a 3.2
Gig which I wish to use for my windows 95 drive on my secondary. Every time I
try to start linux with Lilo which is installed on my Master Boot Record It
prints "LI" on the screen and then freezes.
I tried to reinstall LILO but when I did I the following message:
" Installing the Linux Loader
geo_comp_addr: cylinder number is to big (2202 > 1023)"

I have tried over and over to reconfiger my partitions so that niether of them
is above the 1023 cylinder. but I must be doing something wrong. Here is a copy
of my current Fdisk configuration that did not work.

Device Boot Begin Start End Blocks ID

Linux Native
/dev/hda2 12288 13001 13328 154980 5

What did I do wrong and how should I go about fixing this.
I have loaded Linux many times before and never ran into anything like this

Oh yea the version of Linux is Slackware 3.4

If you could be of any help it is appreciated greatly
