The Migrant Workers Task Force (MWTF), in collaboration with Bukhar Beirut Collective Foundation, proudly invites you to our annual Rock for Migrant Rights fundraiser which will take place on SATURDAY MARCH 9th, 2013 at t-marbouta, Hamra. The event will include live Hip Hop and Rock performances, spoken poetry, as well as an art exhibition showcasing self-portraits of migrant workers currently enrolled in our program.
Price: 15.000LL ($10 US) including a beer (or non-alcoholic beverage)
The line-up for the night will be:
• Edd Abbas (From Fareeq El-Atrash)
• Deep Cipher
• Entity
• Flying Filangees
• Assem Bazzi (spoken word)
• Hashem Osseiran (spoken word)
MWTF is a volunteer-based organisation that leads different initiatives to empower migrant workers and alter their situation in Lebanon.
Bukhar Beirut is a cultural collective aiming towards activism and social engagement through art.
