to T-LAB Users Community & Support

Welcome to the official T-LAB User Community!

Whether you are a long-time user or a student discovering T-LAB for the first time, we are glad you are here.

As many of you know, to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, T-LAB has transitioned to Freeware. The software is now a mature, "legacy" project: it is free for everyone to download and use forever, but it will no longer receive functional updates or official technical support from the developers.

Purpose of this Group

This forum is the designated space for peer-to-peer support. We are entrusting the vast knowledge accumulated over 25 years to you - the community of researchers, professionals, and analysts.

Here, you can:

  • Ask for help with installation or troubleshooting.
  • Share methodological advice and best practices.
  • Discuss interpretation of results and text mining strategies.
  • Help colleagues solve problems you have already faced.

Community Guidelines

  1. Search Before You Ask: Before creating a new topic, please use the search bar. The answer to your question may already exist in the archives or the User Manual.
  2. This is User-to-User: Please note that the T-LAB development team does not monitor this group for support requests. Reliance is on the goodwill and expertise of fellow members.
  3. Be Specific: When asking for help, provide details (OS version, T-LAB version, screenshots, or error messages). It makes it easier for others to help you.
  4. No Feature Requests: As T-LAB is now a finalized project, please refrain from requesting new features or changes to the software code.
  5. Be Kind and Academic: We are a global community of researchers. Please keep interactions polite, constructive, and professional.

Essential Resources

Thank you for keeping the T-LAB project alive through your research and collaboration.

Happy analysis!
