Hi,

I think I have been in on T-LAB since the beginning (hi Franco!).

Well, in medias res - tried on two computers, the analysis of any file freezes at "Corpus processing/Normalisation". CPU use continues (with fairly efficient PC, about 6 % of CPU time, about 70-80 MB in RAM.

Que faro?

Hi Petri

The issue you describes typically occurs if T-LAB was interrupted or closed unexpectedly during a previous session, leaving behind temporary files that are now causing a conflict.

To resolve this, please follow these steps:

  1. Close T-LAB.
  2. Delete the T-LAB PLUS folder located in C:\ProgramData.
  3. Reinstall T-LAB.

Note on Hidden Folders: If you cannot see the ProgramData folder, it is likely hidden. To make it visible:

  • Open File Explorer.
  • Go to the View tab (on Windows 11, select View > Show).
  • Check the box for Hidden items.

Once enabled, navigate to C:\, locate the ProgramData folder, and manually delete the T-LAB PLUS subfolder.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue.

Best wishes

Franco
