The reason is, that syyncc currently looks for a "privacy" object when
interrogating a post, and only looks further if privacy=="EVERYONE".
ie: public.
The problem is, it turns out there is no "privacy" object for non-status posts.
The question for me is, can I assume that's public? I don't know!
So, currently the assumption is that it is private. That's wrong, but
it has to be conservative until I figure out what the right thing to
do is.
These APIs are not consistent, frustration! :-)
