Interesting bug

Hey, though you might like to know. I had a post on FB, someone commented, and the comment got bounced back to facebook a good 20+ times.  Kinda cool, but I doubt it's suppose to happen like that :)

That's happened before, albeit rarely.

I've suspected for a while that FB is sometimes the culprit. I think,
but I can't prove unfortunately, that sometimes their API returns
multiple copies of the same post or comment as if they really existed
as separate things, and of course Syyncc can't tell the difference, so
the mistake in the API gets turned into a real duplicate buzz post or
comment, which then gets reflected back to FB, and if they have an
ongoing problem with this then hilarity ensues. I have seen this
happen once, about a month back, where FB's API was definitely causing
duplicates for a period of a few hours (and you could see duplicates
in FB proper as well).

I need to address this at some point in the future. Currently I just
trust these services to behave properly, but I need to be a bit more
untrusting about them.
