Setting terminal size?

Is it possible to set the window size of the terminal from program
code? If yes, how?

Hi,

   do not worry too much about that, assume that the window can hold all squares (i.e 100 wide, 40 high). You can assume also that there are some columns and some rows to spare. Yet, If you want to make sure you can control dimensions, then you need to define a window in ncurses of the required size.
