Research group "Neuronal circuits and Behavior" (PI: Tatiana
Korotkova) at the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research in
Cologne, Germany, looks for

two enthusiastic Ph.D. students

with a strong interest in behavioral functions of neuronal circuits.
We employ optogenetics and electrophysiology in behaving mice to study
dynamics of hypothalamic neuronal circuits and their functions in
innate behaviors, including feeding (Carus-Cadavieco et al., Nature
2017, Herrera et al., Nature Neurosci, 2016; Bender et al., Nature
Comm., 2015). Successful candidates should have a Master degree in
neuroscience or related topics. Experience in in vivo experiments
and/or data analysis will be beneficial. We value motivated and
productive team players who enjoy working in interdisciplinary
collaborative research environment.

Please contact Dr. Tatiana Korotkova (tatiana....@sf.mpg.de) for
further information.
