invites applications for a 3-year postdoctoral position. We seek a highly motivated researcher
with a strong background and experience in cognitive neuroscience to join our team.
Research Focus: The successful candidate will investigate the interplay between memory, eye
movements, cognitive maps, and attention. Applicants are strongly encouraged to propose their
own innovative research projects within this broad framework. The postdoc will also collaborate
closely on existing lab projects and participate in co-supervising Ph.D. students.
Qualifications and Experience:
• PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
• Strong research experience in at least one neuroimaging method (fMRI, MEG, EEG,
intracranial EEG).
• Expertise in studying cognitive functions such as memory, attention, eye movements, and
spatial cognition is highly desirable.
• A strong publication record relative to career stage.
• Motivation and ambition to pursue an independent scientific career, including securing
external research funding (e.g., ERC Starting Grant).
We warmly welcome experienced postdocs aiming to critically contribute to the research in the
lab and eventually transition to independent research careers. We can offer structured guidance

Early-career postdocs, who just earned a PhD, are equally encouraged to apply.
Lab Environment: The BottiniLab is an international research team, comprising members from
diverse regions around the world. Our group currently includes 3 postdocs, 3 PhD students, 2
research assistants and it is continuously growing.
Facilities and Resources: The CIMeC hosts state-of-the-art facilities exclusively dedicated to
research, including:
• Siemens Prisma 3T MRI scanner
• Magnetoencephalography (MEG) – Newly acquired, best signal ever!
• Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation combined with EEG (TMS-EEG)
• Advanced eye-tracking technology
• Human intracranial stereotactic EEG, facilitated through our external collaborations with
leading neurosurgical centers
