From 27 January 1981 - to 31 March 2010 Professor & Dean for the name to reckon with Off Campus Work Integrated Learning Programmes - WILP Division of BITS Pilani

During my tenure as Assistant Dean and Dean the on-roll enrolments for the off campus Programmes skyrocketed from just about a thousand in 1997 to 20,000 in 2010 which was more than the combined enrolments of the 4 campuses of BITS (Pilani, Dubai, Goa & Hyderabad) generating nearly two thirds for the revenue of BITS Pilani. During my tenure, conceived of and facilitated execution of collaborations for over 50 prestigious companies ranging from Power - Pharma - Engineering - IT - Education sectors
Single-handedly spearheaded BITS Pilani’s brand building mission since 2004 through internet newswires and conceived of the slogan “Proud to be a BITSian”
As Vice President of BITS Alumni Association (BITSAA) since 2005; made the passion quotient of alumni soar high for the alma mater by networking with them in as many ways as possible.
Recipient of the Special Award at the first ever BITS Pilani Alumni Association–BITSAA Global Meet held at Gurgaon in January 2011 in recognition of my contribution in keeping the entire 50,000 + strong alumni community updated and connected to BITS Pilani
